Welcome to the Warp Markup demo

A construction project with PDF floor plans in two revisions, a product photo for visual inspection, a catalogue proof, a move-out inspection, a boiler room check and car check-ins. Try these in any order.

  1. 1
    Pin a finding

Open the floor plans of Harbor View, choose the red “Finding” tool on the left and click where something is wrong. Fill in the form — the pin gets the next number.

    Open the floor plans →
  2. 2
    Mark it up

Draw a revision cloud, an arrow or a note. Measure a wall with the ruler — the page already has a 1:50 scale. Everything saves by itself.

    Draw on the plan →
  3. 3
    Follow up from the site

Click a pin: change its status, add a comment with a photo. On a phone, long-press the plan to drop a pin.

    Open finding #1 →
  4. 4
    Compare revisions

Revision B moved a wall. Press “Compare”: removed lines are red, added lines blue. Upload your own PDF as revision C and watch the open findings move over.

    Compare A and B →
  5. 5
    Rooms, links and quantities

The plan has rooms: a pin dropped in the kitchen fills in “Kitchen” by itself, and “Color by count” shows where the open findings pile up. Select the “SEE A-102” link and press Open to jump to the 2F plan. The Quantities tab counts the sockets and lights and sums the room areas.

    Open the rooms →
  6. 6
    Cloud the changes

Press Compare, then “Cloud the changes”: every place revision B differs from A gets a revision cloud. If two scans do not line up, “Align” them with two points first.

    Find the changes →
  7. 7
Many at once, and the subcontractor

In the list press “Select”, tick a few findings and “Change together” (status, assignee, due date) — or “Share link”: whoever opens the link sees just those findings and can reply with photos and “Fixed”, without an account.

    Select findings →
  8. 8
A photo is not enough proof? Mark it up

Open a photo in the comments and “Mark up” to draw an arrow on it; with two photos, “Compare with the first photo” slides between before and after. “Fixed” needs a photo here — a rule set with beforeStatusChange(). Finding #1 already has one, so try “Fixed” on #6 (Paint run on the wall), which has none yet.

    Open the photo →
  9. 9
    Print the report

Export → Findings report: a cover, the drawings with numbered pins, and every finding with a crop of the drawing and its photos. The same menu downloads the findings as CSV for Excel or BCF for BIM tools.

    Make a report →
  10. 10
    Common issues in one click

Choose the Finding tool: a menu of common issues appears above the plan. Pick “Hairline crack in plaster” and click the wall — the title, category and due date are already in the form.

    Pin a common issue →
  11. 11
    Your own pin list

Choose the Finding tool, then pick “E — Electrical” under “Pin symbol” and click the plan: the pin shows E instead of a number, and “Electrical” becomes the title. “Edit pin list” adds, renames and reorders the symbols; “Type a symbol…” is for a one-off. The car check-in form has its own list (S for scratch, D for dent…).

    Pin with a symbol →
  12. 12
    Check room by room

Open the Checklists tab, pick “Handover inspection” and a room, and mark each item OK, Failed or N/A. For a failed item, “Pin on drawing” opens the finding form already filled in. The kitchen is done; Bedroom 1 is half-way.

    Open the checklists →
  13. 13
    Layers

The Layers tab hides the architectural lines, the MEP notes or the site notes, each with one click. New markups go on the layer you choose above the plan.

    Show the layers →
  14. 14
Summary and a page per subcontractor

Export → Summary counts the findings by status, assignee, area and category, with the open findings week by week. Next to an assignee, “Portal” makes a link that always shows everything assigned to that subcontractor.

    Open the summary →
  15. 15
    Sign off at handover

Export → Sign off: the owner writes their name and signs with a finger. The signature and the counts at that moment go into the findings report.

    Sign the plan →
  16. 16
A whole drawing set, and its text

Drawings → Upload a drawing set takes many files at once: “A-101_rev-C.pdf” becomes revision C of A-101. In the Pages tab, search the text of the PDF — every match is outlined on the plan.

    Search the plan →
  17. 17
    Let the AI suggest

Open the photo on finding #1 and press “Suggest with AI”: it picks the common issue and writes a title. In this demo the answer for the sample photo is prepared; with your API key, Claude looks at any photo and can also read title blocks.

Try it on the photo →
  18. 18
    Findings are records

Every pin is a row of an ordinary Filament table — filter it, and jump back to the drawing with “Show on drawing”.

    The findings table →
  19. 19
    Photos too

Line 3 marks scratches and dents on a product photo instead of a drawing.

    Open the photo →
  20. 20
    Not only construction

Proofread a catalogue page (the price and a typo are wrong), walk a move-out inspection room by room, or count the valves you checked in a boiler room.

    Proof the catalogue →
  21. 21
    A form field

At a rental car return, the damage is drawn on a car diagram inside an ordinary form, with a numbered note per mark.

    Check a car →
  22. 22
    Become someone else

Use “Acting as” at the top right to become Tom Becker, the finishing contractor: the bell shows what was assigned to him. The language menu at the top switches the whole demo between ten languages.
